All of our current apprentices are in the generation category of Gen Z. To service their needs of our apprentices our team of Apprentice Employment Managers have been working hard to identify what they need to make their apprenticeship journey successful. Gen Z, the current generation between the age of 11-26. Generation Z’s views on apprenticeships in the automotive sector can vary depending on individual interests, experiences, and values. Here are some potential perspectives:
- Technological Advancements: Generation Z is often considered the first generation to grow up with widespread access to technology. They may be intrigued by apprenticeships in the automotive sector due to the industry’s ongoing technological advancements. Opportunities to work with electric vehicles, autonomous driving technologies, and connected car systems may appeal to their interest in cutting-edge technology.
- Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness: Generation Z tends to be environmentally conscious and concerned about sustainability.
